“‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants —men and women alike— and they will prophesy” (Acts 2:17-18, NLT).
The Pentecostal movement in Guatemala is staggering and continues to grow, there are thousands of congregations and ministers of God as a result of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Guatemala, many men and women have traveled to distant places on earth preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many wonder about the “methods” of the Christian Church in Guatemala and ask: “how have they done it? Why do many receive the Lord every day, how?” For that purpose they study the plans and ways of successful congregations. The answer is simple; we would not be a bold, brave, innovative Church, devoted to preach the Gospel if not for the blessing of the Holy Spirit of God. He decided to shed His blessing over our nation, not once but at least 3 times and simple and naive preachers took the torch to boldly preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
May God pour again His Holy Spirit, not only over this nation but the entire world, so that together we reach the farthest ends of the earth! Our prayer is for men and women of all ages with boldness to turn the world upside down (Acts 17:6). Finally: The prophets announced it, Jesus confirmed it: “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 9:11; Habakkuk 2:14; Matthew 24:14). It’s our prayer to be part of this great movement to bring the knowledge of God to the ends of the earth.

Conclusions
The Holy Spirit is God. Is a person and wants to be our friend and helper. When the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven at the right hand of the Father, whence he will come with power and great glory, he sent his Holy Spirit, Third Person of the Trinity. His work is to provide the believer with company, comfort, help and courage to testify. Not only that, He also reminds the believers the words of Jesus Christ so that they can be effective in their testimony.
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity. He quickens and strengthens us; we must not ignore or sadden Him. He is everywhere, sees all and knows all. Therefore, he knows how to pray and ask, that’s why he can helps us from the depths of our being “with groans” to pray as we ought.
The Holy Spirit is Lord. If we recognize Him as God and Third Person of the Trinity, then it’s important to recognize Him also as our Lord. When He speaks we should listen, if He sends us we should obey. In the words of the prophet: “The lion has roared—so who isn’t frightened? The Sovereign Lord has spoken—so who can refuse to proclaim his message?” (Amos 3:8, NLT).
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He is with us according to the promise of Christ: “Then I will ask My Father and He will give you another Helper. He will be with you forever” (John 14:16, NLV). He will be with us in the middle of the storms of life and He will inspire us that Peace of God much greater than the human mind can understand. The Parakletos is always by our side and He will help us to set our minds and hearts in Christ Jesus.
The Holy Spirit inspired Scripture which has been given to man and He is who enables man to understand it and share it in a proper way (II Peter 1:20-21). If we want to know the Scripture, it is in He whom we must resort. Our Lord said in John 14:26: “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you ” (NLT).
The book of Acts ends with a triumphant song: “Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance” (Acts 28:31, ESV). But the story does not end there, the Acts are still written every time a believer is filled with the power of God and obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit preaches with courage and freedom. Come and write our part in history! The acts of the Holy Spirit will continue until the day of the coming of the Lord Jesus!
Let’s pray: “Lord, pour out your Spirit on all flesh. Lord use us for your Glory”.
